A'isha Kareem
Resource Teacher
Mrs. Kareem is the Resource Specialist for students with special education needs. She has been an educator for 30 years and has served emotionally and academically challenged students in grades K-12 for almost 2 decades in diverse educational environments including home, charter, private, public and non-public school settings. Currently, she serves, also, as an adjunct professor at the University of the Pacific and as a counselor for incarcerated mothers. With her commitment to education, Mrs. Kareem has consistently worked closely with community agencies and organizations to help empower students and their families. Mrs. Kareem holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education, a Clear Administrative Service Credential and both a Clear Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education and a Life-Standard Teaching Credential (a collector's item). She is a graduate of the University of the Pacific and the University of Santa Barbara. Mrs. Kareem enjoys spending time with their family, traveling, walking, reading and good team relations.
