Heidi Bridges

For most of my life I have been very interested in all aspects of education. I earned my B.A at the University of California at Santa Barbara in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Marine Biology. After college my husband and I moved to Maine so he and I could pursue further education. While living on the East Coast, I attended the University of Maine at Orono and earned my teaching credentials in secondary science. I love education and working with young people. My passion is to teach students to embrace who they are and be the best possible person they can be. This desire drew me to DCHS. I love the flexibility of the Charter School and personal learning is a fabulous option for teens. I am very passionate about seeing all students live up to their potential and I love working with them to make their post-secondary goals come true. I live in Tracy and am a mom to 3 incredible boys, Cameron, Tyler and Ethan. My life is filled with DCHS and the activities of my sons and husband, and I love it. Stop by and see me soon.
